I live in Lisbon (Portugal), together with my wife Sofia and our four Shetlands (Salty, Spicy, Sheepy and Salina) and also with 3 parrots to increase a little bit more the entropy at home..  Agility became my hobby since early 80’s when I handled a portuguese pointer, a golden retriever, an American cocker and a Belgian shepherd Tervueren.

We had our first Sheltie in 2008, and now we have four and we had our first litter (“of Luso Shelties”) in 2013. Our puppies are training agility in Portugal, Spain and Brazil.

Since 1998 I have been regularly the coach and team leader of Portugal at the World Agility Championships and European Championships.

In the last 5 years I have been team member in the WAC’s and EO’s with my Sheltie Spicy.

My national judging career started in 1997 and since 1999 I am an international judge. I've had the chance to judge many international competitions and championships in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Norway, Finland and Czech Republic.

In 2001 I had the opportunity to judge the World Agility Championship in Porto (Portugal): a dream came true.

- Henri Luomala

I’m a 55 year old agility judge from Kaarina which is located near the city of Turku, Finland.

I started agility already in 1990 and I have since competed with three Belgium shepherds. We have represented Finland in the national team in year 2000 and in the national agility-team for Belgium shepherds in the FMBB competitions in Hungary and in France. I have been coaching since I started agility.

In 2009 I got my agility judge license. When designing courses I aim for a balance between flow and speed combined with an appropriate level of difficulty.
